EMSA Approved Preventive Health Practices for Child Care

This is the 8-hour course that is required by Community Care Licensing in order to become a licensed family childcare provider. The course includes:
- Lead Poisoning Prevention
- Recognition, management & prevention of infectious disease
- Sanitary Food Handling
- Child Nutrition
- Identification and reporting of signs and symptoms of child abuse
- Immunizations
- Prevention of childhood injuries
- Emergency preparedness & evacuation
- Caring for children with special needs
- This is a two-part training. You must attend both sessions to receive your certificate.
1 . Monday September 16th, 2024 ; From 1:30PM – 5:30PM
2 . Tuesday, September 17th, 2024, From 1:30PM – 5:30PM
